Job Requirements:
We are recruiting a Senior Finance officer to join our finance team. Responsible for preparing the bank reconciliation, general ledger account reconciliation, and inter-company reconciliation. Responsibilities include:
- Complete, timely and accurate accounting and reporting of all transactions are made in accordance with International Accounting Standards.
- Internal controls around banks and General Ledger reconciliation are adequate, effective and functioning properly.
- All bank reconciliations are properly and effectively coordinated and supervised.
- Reconciliation and clearance of all suspense and accounts in the general ledger are carried out properly and in a timely manner.
- Checking the accuracy of all invoices
- Ensuring the submission of all invoices to clients
- Reviewing the invoicing mechanism (rates, values, quantities) against all contracts
- Ensure all contracted fees are invoiced and all thresholds and criteria are correctly applied
- Tracing data in invoices to the source files from Ops & IT to ensure complete charging of all services
- Reporting of all findings
- Preparation of adjusted invoices
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Experience:
- Work experience of at least 5-7 years of experience within financial accounting
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of ERP Systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Strong ability to be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
