Job Purpose and Impact
The Facilities Lead Schiphol will be responsible for the successful operations of our regional service centers. In this role, you will lead a team and oversee vendor partners who provide a wide range of support and technical services to ensure efficient and uninterrupted work. You will also oversee and coordinate safety and security measures for the facility ensuring policies and processes are in place and aligned to meet compliance. Key Accountabilities
Lead a team of employees and third party vendors who are responsible for delivery of all office and administrative services, that include space planning, to support multiple businesses across multiple facilities.
Manage the performance and relationship processes with vendors to include the selection of and preparation of contracts for office services and facility services vendors, monitoring and the ensurance of compliance to contracts and the optimization of the purchase to pay and vendor non performance management.
Contribute to budget planning and cost allocation for the services used as well as managing the fixed assets and insurance provision.
Ensure facilities remain both internally and externally in safe and healthy operating condition and ensure the availability of associated services such as physical security, access control, equipment maintenance, technical support, ventilation and lighting, vending, cafeteria and cleaning.
Provide guidance and partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with country regulations related to the provision of safe work environment, participating in the selection of service providers and handle relationships with vendors to ensure the quality of services provided.
Head of the local emergency response team (BHV) you are responsible for drawing up and maintaining emergency plans, organizing training courses for employees, supervising the entire emergency response team and conducting exercises to ensure site safety as per internal and external regulations.
Local Security lead for the Schiphol office location. This includes implementing and enforcing security measures, such as access controls, monitoring systems and security procedures. Ensuring that the location is in compliance with security procedures.
Arrange for collecting, analyzing and reporting data to gain insight into the performance and efficiency of the facility aspects within the building. This includes annual objectives, trends, patterns and possible areas for improvement. Provide valuable insights and recommendation to key stakeholders.
Partner collaboratively with regional managers and compliance leads in the consolidation and implementation of business continuity, preventative maintenance and emergency plans and ensure the functionality of critical facility systems and equipment.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Technical knowledge and understanding of building systems operation related issues Minimum of six years of related work experience Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications Three years of supervisory experience
